JPMorgan Chase just imposed new capital controls on cash deposits. Something is going on with banks, something scary. They're becoming much more restrictive and domineering about how they handle customers' money. This is the third restriction by Chase in less than half a year—in October they banned international wire transfers and restricted cash activity for business customers. Apparently they no longer consider customers' money to be customers' money.

Lech Walesa "disillusioned" with Obama. Walesa, anti-communist crusader and former president of Poland, said Obama wasn't ready to take on the task of leading the world's most dominant superpower and feels things are so bad at this point that we need reforms at the United Nations so the world body can help fill the vacuum left by the United States' failure of leadership under Obama. That's what you call a verbal smackdown.

Interview with a former Planned Parenthood nurse. The part about representatives from the Planned Parenthood national office chanting—and trying to get local employees to join them in chanting—is especially interesting to those who see something satanic about Planned Parenthood. Creepy.

$205 trillion. If you're an American, that's how much your government is really in debt. To be precise, that's the present value of the estimate of your government's unfunded off-budget liabilities... which both political parties conspire to hide from you.

New solar electric plant in California roasting birds in mid-flight. Sometimes the other-worldy stupidity of the environmental movement needs no editorial comment. It indicts itself.

"Kerry is just beginning to tackle the issue." The issue being the long-awaited Obama-delayed Keystone Pipeline. "Just beginning?" He's been Secretary of State for over a year! Someone tell this dunce the State Department has been holding this thing up for years, environmental worries have been allayed, and it's time to shit or get off the pot...

When stupid people are federal judges.... they end up looking silly. Judge Arenda Wright Allen ruled Virginia’s ban on same-sex marriages unconstitutional today, on Valentine’s Day, and made a fool of herself with the first sentence of the second paragraph of her ruling...

Ray Nagin guilty on 20 of 21 counts of corruption. Crooked Democrat mayors are as common as tics on a hog and as difficult to get rid of. This filthy bastard made himself famous during Hurricane Katrina trying to cover up his own incompetence by blaming President Bush. That was in 2005. Here it is 2014. That's how long it took.

100% of 501(c)(4) groups audited by Obama IRS were conservative. Don't listen to our lying-ass president when he says there was "not even a smidgen of corruption" involved in the IRS scandal. The facts prove otherwise...

95% of climate models since 1979 over-estimated warming. Not that this is news to anyone who's been paying attention. If the models were honestly designed to represent climate by scientists with no political agenda, there would be just as many low estimates as high estimates, right? Dart throwers don't all miss the dart board on the same side... unless they're aiming for something on that side.

Obama delays Obamacare mandate again... or further. He's delayed so many features of Obamacare nobody can say for sure whether this one is another delay, a further delay, or some other kind of unilateral illegal contradiction of the original legislation...

College football player, NFL prospect, tells ESPN he's gay. Why he feels obligated to tell ESPN about his sex life, or ESPN thinks football fans want to know about his sex life, is a mystery. His gayness was apparently no secret already, not just on his own team but across the country—he was not "in the closet" at all—so what does this interview do? Maybe he wasn't getting enough attention to make him happy. Who knows? Now, unfortunately, the journalists will be all over this like white on rice and America will be inundated with the gay storyline during NFL games, ruining everybody's simple enjoyment of football.

Stupid bureaucrat of the week: Eric Pickles. Mr. Pickles, Local Government Secretary in the UK, says the answer to flooding in southwest England is international aid to poorer countries, which will ease the Global Warming that caused the floods. With people like this in charge of the situation, flood victims have no hope.

India's 1,300-year war against Muslim aggression. Surely there are some European countries who can identify with what's happening in India. Muslims even have a name for it: grand-jihad-by-sabotage. The purpose of all jihad is to institute sharia, plain and simple, and when Muslims don't have enough strength for open war, they wage jihad with infiltration and the twisting of a host country's political process.

Lake Superior 92% frozen over, a new record. The Great Lakes as a whole are 77% frozen over, also closing in on a new record. Since the lakes added 11% over the last week and temperatures are still well below freezing, that record seems achievable. With this news, reports of growing ice cover in the Arctic, and ice 27.4% above normal in the Antarctic, you have to wonder how long the Michael-Mann-flim-flam artists can keep their Global Warming scam going.

Woman singled out by TSA for reading The Jewish Press. At the same time, a Muslim woman wearing a niqab that covered her entire face except for eyes was waved through without even verifying her identity. There's no way to talk about this without violating Godwin's law.

Monthly satellite lower-troposphere temperature data. As the chart shows, there has now been no global warming—at all—for 17 years 5 months. When will the Global Warming delusion give up the ghost? Answer: when we stop electing deluded politicians and stop throwing billions of dollars at climate scientists to keep the AGW corpse on life support.

British court issues summons for head of Mormon church. The Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London wants to put the church on trial for fraud. Study says Dutch would be better off leaving the euro. It's not so much the conclusion in general that is startling, but rather the specifics: the study estimates an advantage to the average Dutch household of more than £8,000 a year and national income growing by over £1 trillion if the Netherlands leaves the euro and the EU.

Kerry blatantly lies... or he's remarkably ignorant... or both. In Munich, trying to sell his Middle East peace efforts, he told guests at a conference, "Last year, not one Israeli was killed by a Palestinian from the West Bank." Except, well, there were numerous ambushes, stabbings, and dastardly cowardly attacks on both armed forces and civilans, resulting in numerous injuries and at least five deaths. Question is, why is President Obama attracted to such incompetent appointees? That Kerry is stupid and dishonest is not a new revelation, yet Obama made him the nation's representative to the world. It boggles the mind.

WH wrote pro-Obamacare tweets for NFL players to parrot during Super Bowl. Before you scoff, it makes for a handy concussion test. Any player mentally deranged enough to waste time tweeting White House-written Obamacare crap is obviously suffering from brain damage and needs an MRI.

To boost morale, IRS plans employee bonuses. These are the same "employees" who allowed themselves to be used as police-state enforcers against conservative political groups. In what parallel universe does subrogation of the Constitution and tyrannical suppression of political opinion earn someone a bonus?

India and Japan forming defense alliance to counter China. Since everybody knows they can't count on the U.S. while Obama is president, this seems like a good marriage: Japan has the money and technology, India has 1.3 billion people. If you think in terms of Chess, this is check—if you think in terms of Go, the alliance has white stones on opposite sides of the opponent.

Rejected pro-gun Super Bowl ad going viral on the Internet. Here's hoping the ad gets more exposure for free, from being rejected by the liberal weenies who run the NFL, than it would have gotten with a paid spot during the game. Poetic justice is the best kind.
