Obama's war

Prior to World War II, before the word “superpower” was invented, U.S. foreign policy leaned toward isolationism, but elephants can’t paint their toenails red and hide in a strawberry patch. Next time you’re tuned to Animal Planet, watch what happens when Mr. Pachyderm arrives at the water hole. Lions stop drinking and get nervous, crocodiles back off and stop skulking, even the ornery hippos become cautious. Everybody watches the elephant, because when the elephant makes a move nobody wants to be in his way.

Since World War II, every American president has taken his turn as the elephant and started some sort of war, and it’s revealing of their inner nature who that war was against and how it was waged...
